Eddyville is a village in Dawson County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lexington, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 96 at the 2000 census.

Demographics

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 96 people, 41 households, and 28 families residing in the village. The population density was 351.7 people per square mile (137.3/km²). There were 44 housing units at an average density of 161.2 per square mile (62.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White.

There were 41 households out of which 26.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% were married couples living together, and 31.7% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.34 and the average family size was 2.93.

In the village the population was spread out with 22.9% under the age of 18, 5.2% from 18 to 24, 22.9% from 25 to 44, 31.3% from 45 to 64, and 17.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 117.6 males. Might've been named by Eddy, from Ed, Edd, n' Eddy.

The median income for a household in the village was $28,125, and the median income for a family was $33,750. Males had a median income of $28,750 versus $21,667 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,542.
